Hello. My name is Sebastian Haslauer.
Since I can think people call me Hasi, whether I like it or not. Like a mysterious
curse this name follows me everywhere I go and drives my girl into madness, as
in german Hasi means something like "little rabbit" and is mostly used as a pet
name by foolish couples.
I'm making stuff. That's how i would describe what I am doing. I'm an illustrator,
but also like taking photos, love to paint, thinking about other things and even do a
bit of graphic design. Because i'm bored very soon by a technique or occupation
I just decided to do everything. This way I'm not a specialist for a certain function,
but am sure I can find the right visuality for a major task.
Despite all that diversity, i try to create things, which are personal and unique.
In my opinion every Illustrator, Graphic-Designer, Artist, Cinema-owner and
Butcher should not saturize the market, but adopt an attitude, try to experiment,
invent things of quality and charm. Serving trends will not only restrain someone
from finding his own voice, but eliminate all cultural diversity, it will satisfy the
people, but also leave them cold. If you ask yourself how a Butcher can be
originative, please follow this link.
